You have a very good point. You have to be willing to work for what you get. Creating passive income still takes work, it simply provides long term rewards.

You have some great ideas. The freelance one is a good one. I know a very prolific venture capitalist who paid off some debt when he was just getting started in life by doing voiceover work he found on Elance (now Upwork). If you hear him talk, it’s not like he has one of those amazing “voices for radio,” but it didn’t matter much. The opportunities are there if you’re willing to work for them!
